This year the team at the Grains & Legumes Nutrition Council celebrated AU Whole Grain Week 2020 from 15-21 June by joining forces with Australian Masterchef contestant Callum Hann and Accredited Practising Dietitian, Themis Chryssidis.
The campaign focused on several videos which promoted the importance of swapping to whole grain foods for better health and achieved reach of over 6 million via TV alone. The videos were viewed over 23,000 times on social media platforms and major regional Australian TV channels, alongside an audio version aired on regional radio channels. The campaign also gained the support of significant players in the Australian grain food industry, from growers to manufacturers as well as social media influencers, building on the popularity of last year’s campaign. Total campaign reach currently sits at over 9 million, which equates to growth of over 140% on 2019’s reach. The campaign video can still be viewed here.
